11/05/2012 08:09:24
Having a healthy and resilient workforce is key ingredient in the current economic climate. There is pressure on managers to obtain increased results with lower costs and less people. By confronting challenges in a positive manner, resilient managers turn problems into opportunities for business growth. Resilient managers adjust to adversity and change, bounce back and wind up stronger or better.
A Seminar on Employee Health and Well-Being will take place in City Hall, Waterford on Thursday 28th June and will be opened by Tom Murran, Waterford Chamber of Commerce. Speakers will include Maurice Quinlan, Director, EAP Institute, Waterford and Dr Robert Kerr, Managing Well-Being at University of Ulster. The afternoon session will be chaired by Ann Murran Psychotherapist in private practice.
