This 3 hour online certified learning course will take place on

Course Aim
This course aims to equip attendees with the knowledge and understanding to develop a structured approach to workplace mental health based on current guidance and standards.
ISO 45003
The ISO 45003 global standard published in July 2021 is in the form of guidelines that addresses psychological and psychosocial health, ISO 45003 Occupational health and safety management – Psychological health and safety in the workplace – Guidelines, will provide guidance on the requirements of ISO 45001 with respect to managing psychological health and safety risks.
Learning Objectives
At the end of this online course, those attending will have knowledge of:
• The Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) structured approach to safety and
mental health and the ISO 45003 global standard guidance for addressing psychosocial risks
• Overwork and burnout
• Conducting risk assessment on psychological and psychosocial risks
Training Certification
Attendees will receive a certificate of attendance presented by the EAP institute and a copy of the training materials. In addition:
- Professional development hours PDH’s will be awarded by the Employee Assistance Certification Commission (EACC).
- The Institution of Occupational Safety and Health members will be able to allocate CPD points to courses at a rate of 3 points per course day.

Maurice Quinlan
Maurice Quinlan, Director of the EAP Institute is a competent person as required by Section 80(1) of The Safety Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005. He has the knowledge, skills and experience to develop policies and training on Employee Support Therapy (EST) for workplace mental health, workplace intoxicants (defined as drugs and alcohol), Psychological and Psychosocial risks and employee health and wellbeing policies and programmes for national and international companies. -
Sinead Kelly
Sinead is a dedicated and passionate Self Health Coach, who is based both online and in Cork, Ireland. She focuses on supporting busy professionals to take charge of their own health and wellness. In addition to her personal coaching practice, Sinead is a sought-after corporate speaker. She has given talks and webinars on various topics related to health, wellness, and psychology. Sinead also offers a unique 6-week group coaching workshop for employees called "Empowering You and Your Health," which focuses on health behavior change.
